Branding yourself on social media is vital to the success of your business and brand. However, with the constant change in algorithms, many people buying their engagement and/or followers, it can be tough to learn how to navigate the waters when building your brand on Instagram.
You want to make sure you take quality photos for your social media. For example, taking photos with lots of clean and natural light is best! Also, make sure if you use a filter that all of your images have that filter or one similar to keep the existing aesthetic.
Along with quality graphics, you want to make sure your brand tone is consistent across your posts. Now you’re probably thinking, what the heck is a brand tone? It’s how your content is viewed and interpreted through your captions. Is your brand tone bubbly and light? Or is it humorous and sarcastic? Make sure your content reflects your brand tone throughout your feed.
Create a plan and stick to it. Once you start building a following you want to make sure you’re posting regularly. Now this doesn’t mean you need to post two times a day to be successful. However, once you start attracting a tribe, they will come back for more content. It’s simple, show up and serve your community regularly.
