Getting placements is one of the top priorities for many entrepreneurs. It gives you visibility, credibility and authority. But, simply getting mentioned won’t be as productive if you don’t create a content strategy that revolves around leveraging those placements and features. If you are struggling to convert your features into new clients or income, this is for you.
Here are a few ways to leverage your PR placements:
You can reuse, repurpose those placements on social media. Plan content around that article, podcast feature and link back to the original feature. I would also credit the writer, outlet and/or podcast host. You can also repurpose on Pinterest (hint hint, great driver for organic traffic). Incorporating your placements into your social media strategy shows your audience that other important platforms are validating your expertise and your message-invaluable.
You can include your latest feature in your email signature. I have my Forbes Communication Council linked in my email signature so anyone that corresponds with me can see my articles. This is such a small easy step that adds instant credibility.
You can incorporate your features and/or contributor work in your newsletters and link back to the publishing website or blog. Another great way to position yourself as the authority to your email list.
These few simple steps will be extremely helpful as you repurpose and distribute your PR.
