It’s no surprise that the impact of a global pandemic has shift the economy as we know it. There simply has never been something like this in history, and even our parents and grandparents haven’t lived through something like this.
Many businesses have had to restructure their revenue plans and that includes their marketing plans.
Here are four tips you can implement in your marketing plan:
Community Giveback
It goes without being said that giving back to your community is a great way to deepen the loyalty between you and your clients. For example, you can do this with a promotion, helping those in need, etc.
With many brick and mortar businesses having to adapt to the change, they’ve had to implement new means to interacting and doing business with their clients. To engage your audience you could implement virtual meetups, classes, happy hours, etc.
Social Media Engagement
Now is the time to engage with your audience on social media. With so many people working from home it’s your opportunity to ramp up your social media engagement. For example, hosting IG Lives, on a particular topic relevant to your niche, collaborating with another business, influencer, etc.
Strategic Partnerships/PR
There’s a misconception that you can’t pitch the media or form strategic partnerships during this time. Now more than ever, you have an opportunity to come from a place of service for the media outlets AND for your clients.
I’d love to know how you’ve been able to pivot and adapt during this unprecedented times. Again, at the end of the day we’re all in this together.
Be well and stay healthy.
